New Canadians are caught between two homes. The home they’ve left. Where everything felt like home. The home they’ve adopted. Where nothing feels like home at first. Barrett and Welsh set out to show that TD understood this with a brand new TD New Canadians campaign. The advertising we developed, spoke to new Canadians with the Canadian warmth and reassurance that only a bank with 100 years of newcomer service can provide. It answered the needs of new Canadians with a friendly practicality that is very Canadian: by making banking in Canada comfortably simple with an all-in-one banking foundation package. It said, TD makes you quickly feel at home with your banking. It said, “Welcome to Canada. Welcome home.”
